After much rushing around and packing last minute.. this mama is VEGAS BOUND (Rudy left yesterday)! Left my kiddos at home with Carol and Anthony and then hopped on a plane (one that we almost missed because we were drinking in the airport bar...) to Vegas, with 10 other people. Tara and Mark and 8 of their friends! I haven't been here in 5 years! I can't believe it's been so long. I've missed it! I love the rush of being here and the energy that Vegas gives off. You feel like you can pretty much do anything out in Vegas and get away with it! This is the only time in a LONG time that I've stayed up way past my bedtime and had drinks with friends and gambled. It's a good combo, right??!!
We got to the Wynn hotel, changed clothes and then went to dinner downstairs at the SW Steakhouse.
Dinner was great. We are here with some really nice people. Then it was off to do some gamblin'! The girls pretty much stuck with slots. Tara being the big winner that night! I think I lost $40?? But I got at least 3 "free" drinks.... lol All evens out, I think... Finally off to bed about 1:30 (which was 3:30am dallas time)! Thanks to my parents for spending the night at our house with the kiddos so we could go out of town! Love them!
