A Milestone

I just realized that I graduated from Texas Tech 10 years ago today!  Wow!  Does that make me old?  Some days I feel like I don't get to use that good ole' college degree I have.  I change so many diapers and do so many feeding of mouths all day.  Some days I miss my old life... the one where I had a corporate job and worked "9 to 9" (if anyone remembers my old job, I never got off at 5!).  But then I look at these sweet little faces and think this is where I should be now.  Helping them so one day they can make a change in the world.  I'm shaping the way they think and act.  I'm making little citizens of the world.  Maybe once they are in school, I'll be able to do something with that Finance degree that is over in the corner of my office just collecting dust...
