Rudy and I actually got away today for our first overnight trip without any kids!!! We flew to Lubbock this afternoon with some friends for a lettermans reunion with Rudy's old football coach Spike Dykes. They had a dinner/reunion with all of Spike's old college players tonight at 4 Bar K in Lubbock. It was nice to see some old faces that we hadn't seen in a while. Obviously it was more fun for Rudy. By 8:15 this mama was tired! But I was a trooper, even sucked it up enough to go out to the Spoon afterwards! But by midnight, I was done! Ready to call it a night! Morning will come early!
