The Piggies Got my Baby

Today was supposed to be a fun day.  We had all kinds of plans.  First we were going to the pumpkin patch with friends.  Then tonight Angelo had a super fun Halloween PJ party that he was invited to from his friend Sailer... Well, none of those things happened... Here is what did happen.

I call the dr. at 8:27am... Get Angelo an appt. for 11 with a new dr.  Our normal doctor (who lives about 8 houses down from us) is out of town.  We get in there and have to wait FOREVER.  And you know, when you have a sick kid who is moaning in pain, the dr. can't get in there fast enough.  So, a new dr. comes in (Super nice) and checks him out... He ends up with DOUBLE ear infection, the croup, and the SWINE FLU.  I'm freaking out.  Not because I'm worried about Angelo... I know he can fight this easy, It's Lola I'm worried about.  She's too little to get the flu shot and don't think she can fight this off as easy.  He gives me his personal cell number and says to call him first before I take her to the hospital if her temp gets over 100.4.  WHAT??? The Hospital?  Really scared now.  I call Mandy, who is watching Lola, AGAIN, and have her take her temp immediately.  She's fine.  So, I call Rudy, make him cancel his trip and come home.  I go get Lola and take her to my parents where we plan to stay until Angelo gets better.  Daddy has Angelo at home and I have Lola at my parents.  I go back and forth making house calls, dinner, and praying that no one else gets sick.  I text Rudy all night long to make sure he's waking up to check on Angelo so his fever doesn't get too high.  Mommy can't be in two places at once, but I sure wanted to!
