I've had better days...

I should have stayed in bed today.  I knew I couldn't take my pain meds this morning because I had to drive Angelo to school.  Surprisingly, I didn't need them.  I felt 95% better.  I could actually walk without hunching over!  I had an appt. for a CAT scan today at 11:15.  Mandy once again to my rescue.  She watched Lola while I was at the dr.  Afterwards, I was rushing home to get Lola (because I felt so bad that Mandy had Dominic, Madison and now Lola) so I get pulled over... I tried to get out of this ticket... I even pulled the "I'm rushing home to BREASTFEED my 5 month old!"  I gave him the sob story about my kidney stones, CAT scan, breastfeeding... NOTHING!! I still got a speeding ticket... and a ticket for no insurance.  and the only reason I didn't get a 3rd ticket was because I lied and said I currently live at the address on my license... well, I don't!  I just haven't had time to go get my license renewed. Fabulous!

So, I pick up Angelo from school (late, I might add... poor baby was the LAST one there) and his teacher tells me he was really tired today... HMMM.  This should have been my clue.  By 8:30pm, he's running a fever.  I'm freaking out because he has a fever, a cough and a runny nose... All signs of either allergies or the swine flu.  I'm thinking the worst and so afraid now that Lola is going to get the swine flu.  Praying it's just allergies at this point!
